Reaching over 10,000 with fun, culturally diverse, and socially engaging educational presentations, Flamart continues its series Year of the Woman - an artistic and social initiative celebrating women's achievements and standing against violence toward them. Using its large citywide and nationwide reach as a platform, Year of the Woman seeks to create awareness on the need to end the culture of violence that adversely affects not only women, but society as a whole. At the same time, the series provide information to attendees on resources that are available for those in need.
